We are expanding our development team and looking for a passionate Unreal Engine C++ Programming Intern. At Bionic Ape, 100% of our workflow is based in Unreal Engine, making a strong foundation in C++ absolutely essential.

This is a fully remote position with a morning schedule. As an intern, you won””t just be fixing minor bugs; you will be exposed to a wide variety of technical challenges. Our projects range from core video game development to creating custom Editor tool plugins, building multiplayer systems, and developing game hosting tools. This is a hands-on learning opportunity designed to level up your C++ and Unreal Engine skills in a professional environment, requiring a good degree of autonomy and proactive communication.

Requisitos mínimos:

– Solid foundational knowledge of C++ programming (Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, memory management).

– Basic to intermediate knowledge of game engines (UE5 preferred) and C++.

– Proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn complex systems and architectures.

– Ability to tackle diverse programming tasks beyond standard gameplay (tools, plugins, networking).

– Ability to work remotely and independently during a morning schedule.

Requisitos deseados:

– Currently completing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Video Game Development, or similar.

– A portfolio, GitHub repository, or personal projects showcasing your C++ code within Unreal Engine.

– Basic understanding of networking concepts (Client/Server architecture, replication).

– Fluency in English is highly appreciated.

Responsabilidades:

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C++ code exclusively for Unreal Engine projects. Assist in the development of core game mechanics, Editor utility plugins, and backend tools. Learn about and help implement multiplayer architectures Identify bugs, troubleshoot technical issues, and help optimize game performance under the guidance of our senior developers.

Right now, we are looking to expand our game development team and need to fill a position in our Art Department. We are looking for an autonomous and proactive Intern 3D Artist to handle foundational modeling, animation, and rigging tasks for various upcoming video games.

This is a fully remote position with a morning schedule. As part of our team, a key responsibility will be your ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems on the fly.

Buscamos un profesional con experiencia en Unity para unirse a nuestro equipo durante 6 meses, trabajando en un videojuego de plataformas 2D con personajes 3D que se encuentra en pleno desarrollo.

Funciones principales:
– Programación y mantenimiento del proyecto en Unity (C#).
– Migración del proyecto a una nueva versión de Unity y resolución de incidencias derivadas del cambio.
– Actualización e integración de assets y animaciones.
– Sustitución y ajuste de elementos 2D del escenario (fondos, UI, VFX 2D).
– Optimización y aseguramiento del correcto funcionamiento del juego en su conjunto.
– Testing, depuración y corrección de bugs.
– Colaboración directa con el equipo de diseño y arte, siguiendo la estructura y código ya existentes.

Ofrecemos la oportunidad de trabajar en un proyecto profesional con un equipo ya consolidado, en modalidad remota. Duración del contrato: 6 meses. Se valorará portfolio o proyectos demostrables.

Requisitos mínimos:

– Mínimo 2 años de experiencia demostrable trabajando con Unity.
– Experiencia en programación de gameplay en C# (plataformas, físicas, cámaras, input, UI).
– Capacidad para testear, ajustar e iterar sobre funcionalidades de forma organizada.
– Seriedad, compromiso profesional y buena comunicación en remoto.
– Portfolio o proyectos demostrables (imprescindible).
