We are looking for a skilled Mid-level Texture and Shading Artists to join our team for an exciting 3D animated series. You will be responsible for creating high-quality textures and materials that bring characters, props, and environments to life. Working closely with the modeling, lighting, and rendering teams, you will ensure that all assets align with the artistic vision and technical requirements of the production.

– Type of contract: Fixed-term Employee contract. To start in September/October 2025.
– Location: On-site in Tenerife. Remote work for this position won””t be possible.

Requisitos mínimos:

– Experience in texturing and shading for 3D animation films or series.
– Software Skills: Proficiency in Substance Painter, Photoshop, Maya, Arnold, and UVLayout.
– Strong Understanding of: UV mapping, PBR workflows, procedural texturing, and material creation.
– Ability to adapt to different artistic styles and maintain visual consistency.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.
– A valid EU/Spanish work permit is required.
– This position is 100% on-site in Tenerife (Canary Islands).
Nice to Have:
– Experience in Look Development.

Responsabilidades:

– Create and apply high-quality textures, materials, and shaders for characters, props, and environments.
– Develop procedural and hand-painted textures, ensuring consistency with the artistic direction.
– Optimize textures and shaders for efficiency in production and rendering.
– Collaborate with modeling and lighting teams to ensure seamless asset integration.
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to texturing and shading.
– Maintain an organized workflow and optimize texture files for production.

Atlantis Animation is seeking a talented Mid/Senior 3D Modeler Artist to join our team. You will work along with the art department to create 3D characters, props and/or sets models that align with the aesthetic of our projects and bring our stories to life on screen.

– Type of contract: Fixed-term Employee contract. To start in September/October 2025.
– Location: Preferably on-site in Tenerife. Remote work may be considered depending on the department and only if the candidate is based in Spain or elsewhere in Europe.

Requisitos mínimos:

Mid-level: At least 2-3 years of experience in character modeling.
Senior: 5+ years of experience in character modeling in an animation or video game studio.
Technical skills: Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Maya, ZBrush).
Solid knowledge of modelling and rigging workflows.
Adaptability to the model style of the project.
Good sense of traditional anatomy and proportion, and an excellent eye for detail.
Team player, open to feedback, and able to work within deadlines.
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.

Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
A valid EU/Spanish work permit is required.

Responsabilidades:

Create 3D character models based on concept art and design.
Create 3D sets & props models based on concept art and design.
Collaborate closely with rigging, texturing, and animation teams to ensure smooth integration into the production pipeline.
Ensure that models meet the artistic and technical constraints of the project.
Optimize models for production pipelines.
Make corrections and adjustments based on feedback from art supervisors.
Support and maintain dialogue with other crew members, including Technical Directors, Riggers and Animators, who make use of the digital assets as required.
Ensure that weekly modelling department milestones and production deadlines are met, and communicate to production of any issues that may impact on this successful delivery.

ATLANTIS ANIMATION is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Rigger to join our creative team in Tenerife, Canary Islands. As a Senior Rigger, you will work directly with our assets supervisor, overseeing the creation of character rigs, props, and environments for our 3D animation projects. You will ensure that the rigs are optimized, functional, and ready for layout and animation, collaborating closely with modellers, animators, and other departments to bring characters and assets to life.

– Type of contract: Fixed-term Employee contract from As soon as possible until, at least, July 2026
– Location: On-site in Tenerife, or Remote (only if based in Spain or elsewhere in Europe).

Requisitos mínimos:

– Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in 3D rigging in a senior position.
– Proficiency in rigging software (Maya).
– Strong knowledge of rigging techniques for both characters and props, including facial and body rigging.
– Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and feedback.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
– Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
– A passion for 3D animation and the technical aspects of character creation.
– A valid EU/Spanish work permit is required.
Preferred:
– Experience working in a production environment for animated series or feature films.
– Knowledge of additional animation or technical software is a plus.
