Univrse is a pioneer startup developing multi-user VR solutions for high-traffic venues such as museums, cultural spaces, business showrooms or events. Univrse unique experience manager software allows up to 400 simultaneous users to share an immersive experience in physical areas of any dimension and shape. Univrse is already powering VR installations in Spain, UK, Germany and partnering with companies such as FC Barcelona, Ideal Centro de Arte Digital, Exhibition hub, Fundación La Caixa, Mediapro or the international music festival Tomorrowland.

Univrse also develops Univrse Framework, an intuitive tool for Unity creator’s with a designer mindset. It includes advanced features to develop complex VR experiences. That’s why Univrse can help them to significantly boost the development of any kind of multi-user VR applications. Thanks to our tool they can earn a lot of time and money.

Our goal is to become the standard solution for multi-user location-based VR.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a Lead Unity Technical Artist. You will play a key role in the development of our product, Univrse, as well as in the development of multi-user VR experiences. We need you to be not just someone who does the work, but also someone who thinks critically and contributes to the creative process.

Requisitos mínimos:

At least 5+ years of professional experience with Unity
We are looking for someone with a really good experience or very deep knowledge of the Unity, its limitations and strengths.
Previous experience with lighting
Experienced working with VFX and particles
Knowledge on how to implement rigged characters with their animations
Experience with sound implementation
Scene build up
Candidates for this position must understand different materials and shaders
Also some familiarity with Optimisation
Experienced working in an Agile environment

Requisitos deseados:

You have a focus on delivering quality work rather than speedy work
You can adapt quickly to changes and new feature requirements
Team player with a positive attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
Available for periodic work related travel
Must have an excellent level of English
An at least intermediate level of Spanish is preferred

Buscamos a un Technical Artist que se encargue de todo el apartado de VFXs para nuestro juego de ACCIÓN-AVENTURA, la ambientación de nuestro juego va a ser de fantasía-medieval y nos gustaría representar los efectos con un el estilo cartoon-estilizado.

El puesto de trabajo puede ser remoto. Pero es preferible que sea presencial.

Requisitos mínimos:

• Experiencia como Technical Artist en la industria de los videojuegos
• Experiencia con Unreal Engine 5
• Conocimientos avanzados de Niagara
• Creación de materiales y shaders complejos en UE5
• Capacidad de crear y diseñar efectos vistosos y profesionales
• Capacidad para identificar y resolver creativamente problemas de VFX y rendimiento relacionado con el mismo departamento
• Capacidad para trabajar con diferentes equipos, desde técnicos hasta creativos
• Ser proactivo, tener buenos dotes de comunicación, tomar feedback y cooperar con múltiples departamentos

Requisitos deseados:

• Conocimientos avanzados en Houdini
• Conocimientos avanzados en Niagara (UE5)
• Implementación de Lighting en motor y conocimientos avanzados de Lumen (UE5)

Responsabilidades:

• Asumir la responsabilidad completa del desarrollo de VFXs
• Crear y diseñar efectos vistosos y profesionales
• Crear de materiales y shaders complejos en UE5
• Trabajar en todas las disciplinas para comprender las necesidades de todos los equipos y garantizar que la VFXs admitan todos los aspectos del juego
• Optimización de blueprints (Niagara) y materiales
