We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Artist specializing in Pipelines and Tools to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between game artists and game developers, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient pipelines. You will play a key role in developing tools, automating processes, and optimizing performance to enhance our creative output
Requisitos mínimos:
• Proven experience as a Technical Artist, preferably in 2D game development or a similar field (e.g. mobile or gambling games).
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python or C#.
• Solid understanding of 2D asset creation and animation workflows, including sprite sheets, and texture optimization.
• Solid understanding of asset optimization techniques and performance profiling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with software such as:
o Adobe Creative Suite
o Unity
o Spine or similar 2D animation tools
o TexturePacker or equivalent for sprite sheet generation
o Git or other version control systems
o Visual Studio or equivalent IDE for scripting tasks
Requisitos deseados:
• Experience with shader programming (HLSL, GLSL, or similar).
• Background in computer graphics, game design, or a related technical field.
• Experience with AI tools and their integration into creative pipelines.
Responsabilidades:
• Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain efficient content pipelines for 2D/3D assets, animations, and visual effects.
• Tool Creation: Develop and maintain tools to streamline workflows for artists, animators, and designers.
• Scripting for Automation: Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks and enhance pipeline efficiency.
• Technical Design: Create and manage scripts and tools that align with project needs and technical goals. Assist with shaders, VFX, and animations in Real Time Game Engine.
• Infrastructure Maintenance: Support and maintain existing infrastructure to ensure seamless communication between artists and programmers
• AI Image Generation Development: Explore and develop tools and workflows for integrating AI-generated imagery into the graphic pipeline.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teams across disciplines to identify bottlenecks and provide technical solutions.
• Optimization: Ensure assets and pipelines are optimized for performance without compromising quality.
• Training and Documentation: Provide training for artists on new tools and workflows and maintain clear documentation. Stay up to date with industry trends and integrate new techniques and tools to enhance our processes
• Problem-Solving: Debug and troubleshoot issues related to tools, pipelines, and visual asset integration.
