MercurySteam, estudio AAA español, continúa creciendo y mejorando con el afán de seguir desarrollando experiencias que emocionen a jugadores de todo el mundo y en todas las plataformas como “Castlevania Lords of Shadow”, “Spacelords”, “Metroid: Samus Returns”, “Metroid Dread” y “Blades Of Fire”. Para ello estamos en busca de un/a QA Tester para que se incorpore al equipo y nos acompañe en nuestras aventuras. ¿Eres un apasionado de los videojuegos y deseas formar parte de un equipo que crea experiencias inolvidables? ¡Descubre tu oportunidad!

Requisitos mínimos:

• Conocimiento de los procesos que forman parte del desarrollo de un videojuego y de los equipos involucrados en el mismo.
• Gran capacidad analítica.
• Excelente organización interpersonal.
• Buenas habilidades de comunicación y presentación.
• Capacidad para recibir y aplicar feedback positivamente.
• Una ética de trabajo positiva y proactiva.

Requisitos deseados:

• Experiencia haciendo testing de Certificacion en juegos AA o AAA desde su concepción hasta su lanzamiento.
• Experiencia trabajando con test kits de desarrollo de consolas (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo).
• Experiencia trabajando con equipos multidisciplinares amplios (+30 personas).
• Experiencia realizando reportes de bugs y gestionándolos con programas de gestión de incidencias (JIRA, Mantis).
• Experiencia trabajando con Perforce o control de versiones similar.
• Español e inglés fluido, tanto oral como escrito (nivel mínimo: B2).

Responsabilidades:

Como QA Tester en MercurySteam jugarás un papel clave en el control de calidad, ayudando a crear juegos libres de bugs y creando una experiencia de usuario positiva en nuestros proyectos. Colaborarás estrechamente con un equipo de QA Testers y QA Engenieers, y tendrás contacto con equipos muy diferenciados como Diseño, Arte y Programación, para ayudar a crear una experiencia interactiva completa e inmersiva que balancee las necesidades del diseño de gameplay, la dirección de arte y la experiencia de usuario.
• Realizar testing manual del proyecto siguiendo test suites y test plans definidos por el Lead de QA.
• Reportar bugs y errores detectados.
• Realizar Verificaciones y Regressions de los bugs corregidos.
• Apoyo a las pruebas automatizadas de los QA Engenieers.
• Conocimiento del proyecto para identificar riesgos y realizar el testing adecuadamente.

We’re looking for a Sr. Game Animator who will be responsible for bringing characters and interactive experiences to life through high-quality, engaging animations. This role plays a key part in shaping the player experience, ensuring animations not only look great but also support gameplay and usability. A key responsibility of this role is to mentor a team of ~five junior Game Animators, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day work and professional development.

Requisitos mínimos:

What you’ll bring

3+ years of experience in 2D character animation for games or interactive media.

Previous experience working in a cross-functional team (e.g., collaborating with game designers, artists, and programmers).

Proven track record of creating polished, engaging animations for mobile or web-based games is highly desirable.

Expert proficiency in Adobe Animate (essential).

Solid understanding of animation principles, including motion, timing, and character acting.

Experience optimizing animations for performance across platforms (especially mobile).

Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity) and experience integrating animations into game environments.

Strong creative eye with an ability to adapt quickly to an established visual style.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Strong problem-solving mindset and adaptability.

English is a must: We’re a multicultural team providing a service in English, so while certifications aren’t necessary, fluency is essential. Clear and effective spoken and written communication is key to collaborating successfully.

What you’ll do

Onboard, supervise, inspire, motivate, and mentor other Junior Game Animators.

Ensure the quality and consistency of in-game animations, striving for continuous improvement.

Create high-quality, engaging animations that align with the artistic direction and gameplay requirements.

Adapt to the current animation style and technical constraints of the project.

Work closely with designers, artists, and programmers to integrate animations seamlessly into the game.

Maintain and update animation libraries for efficiency and consistency across projects.

Troubleshoot and resolve animation-related issues in collaboration with the development team.

Ensure the animations support gameplay mechanics, usability, and player experience.

Deliver clear and actionable feedback to mid and junior animators to improve overall animation quality.

Follow and improve animation pipelines and workflows to optimize production efficiency.

Be involved in playtesting sessions to identify animation refinements that enhance user experience.
